St Helena Web Site

RMS St Helena seen from New Ground - click to go to Contents page

Welcome to the St Helena Web Site. This site is building into a collection of all things 'Saint', including pictures of the island, a bit of history, stories, jokes, recipes, whatever I can find.

Each page is sized for 800x600 pixels running 24-bit true color. Try viewing using MS Internet Explorer in full screen mode for a bigger viewing area (press F11 to switch back and forth). I'm now using standard hyperlinks after some visitors had trouble using FrontPage hover buttons.

Be patient whilst each page downloads. I've kept picture sizes as small as possible in order to reduce transfer times without affecting quality. Each picture is less than 100k, which is still pretty large, but I hope its worth the wait.

Say Hello! Would you like to make a contribution? Write an article and e-mail it to me, or send copies of your favourite pictures. Good quality images are gratefully received. They can be old or new, photos, posters or from books, or images from other sites. Some old-time photos would be nice. If people are featured, tell us who they are. Write a bit of text about the picture so we know where and when it was taken.

Advertisers, you can have banner adverts on this site if you want. KAM have advertised here,as you can see, with a link to their site as well.   KAM Information Systems Ltd
